Service Technician Description
We are seeking a technically skilled and hard-working Window & Door Service Technician to join our team. Technicians will repair windows and patio doors in customer homes, completing 4-5 appointments per day. During each appointment, technicians are expected to communicate clearly with homeowners, recommend appropriate solutions, and deliver a high level of workmanship and service.
Ideal technicians for this role will demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to providing an excellent customer experience.
Job Responsibilities:
Window troubleshooting and repairs
Patio & entry door troubleshooting and repairs
Finish carpentry (installing exterior trim or interior moldings)
Change window glass, replace window & door hardware, change rollers, update weather-stripping, etc.
Effectively communicate with homeowners
Job Requirements:
Basic knowledge of home improvement – carpentry, home repair, installing windows/doors
Must have a driver’s license
Ability to pass a background check
Must be able to work independently without immediate supervision
Pay Range:
$65,000.00 - $75,000.00 salary package ($31,200.00 base salary + performance pay)
Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of construction experience, and 3 years of window and door service experience

Service Apprentice Description
We are seeking a motivated and mechanically inclined Window & Door Service Apprentice to assist our Service Technicians in servicing and repairing windows and doors. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build hands-on skills in the home improvement and construction trades while working alongside experienced professionals.
As a Service Apprentice, you will support technicians during service appointments, help prepare materials and tools, assist with on-site repairs, and learn the technical aspects of diagnosing and resolving product issues. This position would lead to a Service Technician opportunity based on performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist Service Technicians with diagnosing and repairing windows, patio doors, and entry doors
Help with tasks such as replacing glass, adjusting or changing hardware, updating weather-stripping, and installing trim or moldings
Prepare tools, materials, and work areas for service appointments
Maintain a clean and organized workspace and company vehicle
Communicate courteously with homeowners and team members
Learn company standards, safety procedures, and proper repair techniques
Perform general labor and lifting as needed to support service work
Requirements:
Basic knowledge or interest in carpentry, construction, or home improvement
Willingness to learn and take directions from experienced technicians
Dependable, punctual, and safety-conscious
Able to lift to 80 lbs. and work in various weather conditions
Ability to commute to our Davison office is required
Preferred Experience:
Previous experience in construction, home repair, or installation work is a plus but not required
Schedule:
Full time, Monday – Friday, occasional Saturdays
